ABOUT INVESTMENT & CONTRACT
Of course! Once the contracts are concluded and the plants delivered, we will provide information and instructions on the planting and attending to the plants, plus assistance during the entire duration of the contract.
Both contracts are mandatory at the start of the collaboration. Our company doesn’t sell the plants without the purchase contract for the wood.
The order for plants must be placed minimum 10 weeks before the date set for plantation, after signing the contracts and paying the deposit of 30% of the value of the plants.
The company provides transport to our warehouses from every country, this being an integral part of the contract. The transport from our warehouse to the customers’ residence and the cost of plantation must be borne by them.
Even from the start, our customers will receive a number of plants free of charge for possible replacements, depending on the number of plants purchased.
If a customer doesn’t wish to sell the trees to our company, they have to pay penalties of EUR 200 / tree, in accordance with the contract for the delivery of wood.
ABOUT PLANTS & PLANTATION
The source of water is vital for the proper development of a Paulownia Cotevisa 2 plantation. As far as the system is concerned, the irrigation drop by drop is necessary.
The optimal plantation distance is every 4 metres and 600 trees per hectare will be planted.
The first cut, known also as propagation, takes place four years after the plantation, followed by a new cut, three years after the propagation.
The plantation can be made throughout the year, as long as there is no frost (negative temperatures). It would be ideal that plantation be done in the spring and in the autumn.
The plants are created in a laboratory in Spain. They cannot be multiplied as they are sterile and non-invasive and they do not obey the forest regime.
Paulownia Cotevisa 2 is not a seed, but a plant created in a lab, by hybridization of two species. It is a hybrid and it’s not genetically modified.
